SUSPENSION OF SITTING
Mrs ARMITAGE ( Launceston ) - Madam President, I agree with the member for Mersey. I am quite comfortable with an in camera briefing. From my perspective, I would like to know what is in the URS because I believe I am making the decision and I want to know the information that is there. Whilst not everything can be referred to in this place, we can certainly say whether or not we are comfortable with what we have discovered in the briefing. I do not think we have to go into any great detail. I am quite comfortable to have an in camera briefing. As the member for Huon says, there are some sections that the Leader mentioned before that do not need to be in camera - perhaps that could be mentioned. But I still think that when we come back in this House, we need to remember what we can say and what we cannot.
I am comfortable with the situation and I would like to know what is in the URS and where the money is going because at the end of the day, there needs to be some transparency so that we can feel comfortable making the decision on the $35 million.
